Professional photographer and vlogger?

Hello my fellow readers! There's something I need to tell you: I will be climbing the highest mountain in Malaysia -- Mount Kinabalu in a week's time! Therefore, I went to buy the new GoPro HERO4 Silver to vlog throughout the whole trip!

Here are the gadgets that I bought with my GoPro:

GoPro HERO4 Silver + Mount and Accessories
The HERO4 Silver captures 1080p60 and 720p120 video, plus 12MP photos at a staggering 30 frames per second. There are new features in this new GoPro, for example the HiLight Tag, which lets you mark key moments for easy playback, editing and sharing, and QuikCapture, which allows you to power on the camera and start recording with the press of a single button. The HERO4 Silver is also waterproof to 131’ (40m).

There's so many features in this GoPro, but I just can't list all of it down, so here are a few of them:

The new HERO4 Silver has a built-in touch display, enabling you to just swipe the screen and navigate camera menus and change the settings. It also has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which makes it easier for you to share it with your friends and family anywhere in the world! What's most exciting is the Time Lapse mode feature, because you can just capture a Time Lapse video directly from this HERO4, without spending time in the editing room!

The gadgets I bought together with this HERO4 are: a 360-degree backpack mount, a monopod, an extra battery (because the GoPro itself only has a battery in the package), and two memory cards.

Memory cards, batteries, cables, waterproof and usual screen
The GoPro HERO 4 comes with three different screens: the underwater (40m) screen, the normal waterproof (for uses like swimming pool underwater photos/video) screen, and the usual one that only surrounds the border without covering the screen.

Monopod, mounting screw, 360-degree backpack mount
The 360-degree backpack mount is very useful to me because I will be climbing the mountain while carrying a backpack, so instead of mounting it on my head, I can just clip my GoPro on the strap of my bag! The grips of the clip are definitely very strong, so you don't have to worry whether the HERO4 is going to drop while you're walking!

As for the monopod, it's super useful when you're vlogging or getting a selfie/group photo! You can mount it with any electronic devices such as your smartphone, not just the GoPro.

That's all for now! I'll definitely blog about my trip to Kota Kinabalu and my climb to Mount Kinabalu, so stay tuned! x

Today's Haul!

This afternoon, I went to NU Sentral to do some shopping with my mom and brother, whereas my dad went for a meeting nearby. And here's today's haul:
Today's haul! :)
First of all, I went to Typo and got this lovely phone skin for my iPhone. I picked out this world map design because it actually reminded me of what I really want to do in the future, which was to travel the world.

Next, I went to The Face Shop to get myself some CC Cream and perfume. I really liked the products in The Face Shop because it made my skin looked more natural, so my face wouldn't look like it had been completely smudged with heavy makeup. I also bought this two Soul perfumes to try it out, since the sales assistant mentioned to me that the fragrance was nice.

Soul: Sweet Kiss and Secret Blossom
After getting the cosmetics, I decided to go to H&M because I recently heard about the Coachella photo-shoot and my favorite model Lucky Blue Smith was in it. So, I wanted to see whether there were any catalogs or posters of him in the store (I'm weird sometimes haha!). When I got there, I was completely right.

Lastly, I went to Guardian to get my new Maybelline master eyeliner. I personally prefer the crayon types rather than the liquid ones because I tend to draw it better with the crayon ones.

So that's all for today! Stay tuned for more interesting articles! x

Lucky Blue Smith, The Atomics and more!

I recently read about this 'Insta-famous' young model named Lucky Blue Smith. He was born on June 4, 1998 and was from Utah, USA. When he was signed with Next Models management together with his two sisters, Pyper America and Daisy Clementine (except for his oldest sister Starlie Cheyenne, who was too short to model), his whole family decided to move to Los Angeles, California. The Smith siblings also formed a band, with Starlie being the lead singer and guitarist, Daisy as the bassist, Pyper as the guitarist, and Lucky as the drummer. Recently, they've announced that The Atomics' album would be out soon.

I'm amazed at how great looking and talented the Smith siblings were at such a young age, especially Lucky. So I decided to draw him last week. Here's the picture of my drawing:

I hope to meet the Smith siblings one day. That would definitely be added into my bucket list!

Insurgent Premiere!

Yesterday night, my two great friends (Abby and Joy) and I went to the premiere screening of Insurgent :) I've never been to a premiere before, therefore I was super excited because I got to experience how it was to watch a movie first before anyone else!

We met in One Utama at around 7.15p.m., and had dinner at a restaurant called O Banh Mi. That restaurant serves Vietnamese baguette and noodles, so I decided to try one of their vegetarian baguettes. I didn't quite like the pickled carrots and onions because I'm just not used to eating cold and pickled stuff! But if you're curious about what the food tastes like, you should go give it a try!

Hey, it's me :)
After dinner, we went straight up to the cinema (GSC) to collect our tickets for the movie. There were so many people at the cinema and it was just crazy! We bought some popcorn and drinks, and headed up to the cinema hall to be seated.

Screening Passes!
Overall the movie was awesome. I must say that it was better than the first one (Divergent)! The simulation scenes were epic, and I definitely couldn't wait for the last movie of the trilogy, which was Allegiant! My night was definitely well spent yesterday with two of my great friends :)

Great movie!
(P.S.) - So terribly sorry that I didn't update for weeks! I was really busy with works, sports, and some of my art stuff! I will definitely blog about some of them soon! Stay tuned! x
