Hello everyone! Sorry for being so inactive for almost a month here! I have been working through some stuff for the past few weeks, and I've recently just got everything sorted out, that's why I have the time now to blog :)
So for the past few months, I have been loving this new product I have found, called the Young Living Essential Oils. It has helped me so much in easing the aches on my body (due to climbing Mount Kinabalu) and also giving me a speedy recovery in my minor injuries.
Among the whole collection of Essential Oils, here are some of the common ones/ favorites I use in my daily life:
1) Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender Essential Oil has a really sweet, floral aroma that gives me a calm and soothing feel. I usually put a few drops in the diffuser to help me relax and wind down for bedtime. Sometimes, I apply them on my mosquito bites, so it helps me to stop the itch and reduce the redness. It's beneficial for people who has skin irritations (like me).
2) Purification Essential Oil
Purification Essential Oil initially helps to freshen the air and eliminate odors, but I use it on my mosquito bites as well because it smells like Lemongrass and it also works as a mosquito repellent in my morning hikes!
3) Wintergreen Essential Oil
Wintergreen Essential Oil has helped me so much ever since I came back from Mount Kinabalu, because it has this sweet, minty scent, and is good for massaging head tension and muscle aches after exercising.
4) Peppermint Essential Oil
I use Peppermint Essential Oil often when I have stomach discomfort (I apply them on my stomach), headaches, or sore neck and shoulders. Because this essential oil has the peppermint flavor that all of us kids love (because of candy canes!), I usually inhale it before I start my day to keep myself awake for the day.
So that's all for today! There are many more Essential Oils that I apply sometimes, but there's just too much to write! Overall, I sincerely recommend this product because it has really helped my family so much and improved our lifestyle. I hope this article helps you in some way! I'll be sure to blog soon about my future activities so stay tuned for more! x
